Use Gutermann Upholstery Extra Strong Thread for those heavy duty projects. This thread is perfect for upholstery, vinyl, heavyweight fabrics, denim and leather. Whether you're making or mending, the thread is to cope with highly stressed seams.
This strong thread has a very high break point and is 100% polyester. It is finer than the top stitch thread and can be used for both hand and machine sewing.
A size 100 universal needle or top stitch needle is recommended for use with this thread.
